Obituary---
ELIZABETH JENNINGS INGRAM who died at Hazel Green, Sunday, July 5, 1896, was born in Govineer [Gwinear], Cornwall, England, January 1820. Her parents were socially well connected, her mother being a noble Christian woman. Of her numerous family relatives, two sisters only survive her, one being in England [Bridget], the other, Mrs. Rodda, lives at Jefferson. Mr. and Mrs. Ingram came to Wisconsin in 1842 and located near Hazel Green. In 1852 they moved onto their farm near
Providence church in Benton. To them were born twelve children, four of whom preceded their mother to the better home; all the others were at home and stood bedside of their mother when she fell asleep. Since her residence at the Green her health has been poor and she has been confined to the house most of the time. Her suffering, caused by gangrene and mortification, were intensely severe.
