• Occupation. 7 Jul 1810. marriage at Morland: William Dodd of Morland, servant in husbandry to Jane (or Jenny) Moses of same place, by licence. Witnesses: Thomas Moses, Joseph Moses, John Moses, Agnes Bushby (below). Jenny (then of Morland Hall Farm) was said to have eloped with the gardener.

William married Jane 'Jenny' MOSES, daughter of Joseph MOSES and Margaret REA, on 7 Jul 1810 in Morland WES. (Jane 'Jenny' MOSES was christened on 15 Nov 1789 in Renwick CUL and died about 1860 in Catton Old Town Allendale NBL.)
