Anne KELLAWAY

Anne was a governess in Poyntington in 1841. She later kept Knap House, Milborne Port, as a school.
T H Baker of Mere mentions this school in his diaries, as his childhood friends the Moores attended this school. Anne advertises in the Sherborne
Mercury, and after her marriage a Miss Good appears to have taken over (one of her executors was a Good!). She died January 1895 Camborne Lodge, Surbiton Hill Park and is buried at Highgate Cemetery. She is named in Miriam Collins's will as her cousin.
Anne married William HOOPER in 1854 in Milborne Port SOM. (William HOOPER was born in Lacock WIL and died on 30 Nov 1894 in Camborn Lodge, Surbiton SRY.)
